is a contemporary artist who has been creating art on an autodidactic basis since 2017.
Her first exhibition in 2018, where she presented large-format portraits for the first time, was a success with a sale of all works. Most of her works are already in private collections.
Since then she has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions as well as art fairs in Germany, Austria, France and the USA. In 2020 she will receive the 'Artist of the Future' Award from Contemporary Art Magazine.
Karin Döring's preferred motifs are people and their emotions, which inspire her to create her expressive works of art. Strong color contrasts play an essential role in her work. She likes to contrast black and white motifs with intense colors and neon colors and, with her interpretation of people and portraits, always moves in an embrace of representationalism and abstraction.
The artist specializes in working with acrylic colors.
Karin Döring was born in Germany in 1972 and lives and works in Schwäbisch Hall.
